Just got some stuff from CycleDepot at some incredible prices: First Gear Speed jacket and pants for about $85 each, and a couple of pairs of First Gear Millennium gloves for about $44 each. My son rides pillion with me too often to skimp on protection, but a full set of leathers did not fit the wallet; these are the FirstGear Leathertex line, mostly textile (but solid textile!) with leather in key areas, and armor as well. The Millennium gloves (I got a pair for me as well smile.gif ) are full-gauntlet, with hard protection over knuckles and outside heel of the hand.
Closeouts don't always include just what you want or the sizes you need, but between these folks, MotorcycleCloseouts, NewEnough, and the various other dealers with closeout sections, they sure can save a bundle when they've got what you want/need! fing02.gif
Just thought I'd spread the news, allus glad to share a good deal.
You are so right! I just received my new leather jacket and boots from NewEnough today. Very nice, the total cost only $246.00 shipped. The only issue being they are of a color I would pass on if I were paying full price.
Thought I'd point out another great deal on CycleDepot, though not one that's of use to me: They have FirstGear S-Pilot jackets (superseded by the Z-Pilot, which I have and love) for $193 - MSRP $530. Other styles as well, I just happen to be biased. cool.gif
Great Stuff Cheap, ain't bad when you can get it! fing02.gif
Just got my Alpinstar Tex. pants. Really nice,Its realy handy the way the zipper wraps around the leg for easy on...easy off. The fit is superb and the value from "new enoph" was great. $134.00 and got here in 4 days!
