I was looking at new covers for my control center today and I really liked the fit and feel of the Sharks on my head. The padding surrounded my neck nicely to keep out wind and I felt like the vents were easy enough that I could operate them with my gloves on. I foresee that this would be a good fitting and quiet helmet. Weeeeee!!!
So, I do some research and I can't find on their website if they are Snell rated. I can't find any endorsements on the site...... meh. They do have lots of AMA endorsements on the visor for display at the dealership.
I also ran into what looks like a snag. Is $40-$80 reasonable for a visor? They have a neato visor attaching system, but it may not be worth it. Visor replacement is pretty new to me. I need a new visor for my old lid, but I need a new lid more than a new visor.
So, who has been through the goods and bads with these lids?
