I saw this on ebay, and really liked the design, so I bought it. Retail is $280, I paid $157.50! I already have plain black Mainframe, which I really like, it fits me very well, and even though it's a little on the heavy side, it's served me well oer the last two years, which is more than I can say for my last AGV Demon Top Vent. The top vents on the Mainframe don't do too much unless the visor is inthe full up position, then a lot of air comes in, my favorite feature is/are the side gills, with their bbq-style vent inside, they let in a surprisingly large amount of air, enough to keep the face cool in the summer w/ the visor down, and I haven't had any fogging problems, ever. Maybe once or twice in the morning going to work in the rain, but holding my breath for a couple seconds gets rid of it.
It doesn't really match the bike, but I don't care, I think it looks great! cool.gif
veefer800canuck, Oct 19 2006, 11:58 PM My buddy has the Icon lid with the Skullz.
Not my thing, but hey, it's a helmet.
Same here, I thought they were a little much, the 'Manic' is even worse, it has some dripping/snarling/multicolor/toothy monster face over the whole thing. The flames did it for me on this one, it's tough to find them done nicely, and the whole thing has a lot of detail. I put my blue mirrored visor on it too, looks even better IMO!
My Mom always says, "If you don't have something nice to say...." You know the rest.
Kinda busy for my tastes. Interesting though.
We have a guy at work that is actually pretty accomplished with an airbrush. He would charge about $700 to do something like that on your lid. But you would end up with a naked woman somewhere in the design... whether you wanted her or not. He tried to get on with the art department here at work... They said his portfolio was too "scary".
I may be off with the price, I asked once and it was too steep for my wallet.

Silver#788, Oct 20 2006, 01:13 PM I roll the flat black KBC flip face.
it would be better and last a lot longer if you placed it on a shelf, or on your head and stop rolling it around. i could sell you a basketball as a replacement.
