Effect Of Clothing And Helmet Choices On Milage

Anyone ever notice a difference in milage when wearing different jackets or helmets?

ie breathable jacket vs. 1 piece leather, helmet types(full vs 3/4/open face) etc

I do find items that pick up drag at speed annoy/discomfort me, but do they also affect milage to a noticeable degree.

Or are these negligable when riding position is considered?
