I am new to riding and need to stock up on jacket, pants, gloves etc. I have been to the Honda dealership near Granville Island, and they have lots of equipment, but just wondered if anyone can recommend a good clothing/equip store for price and selection in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, BC? Try Imperial at 5387 Lane Street, Burnaby - 604 433-5004 - good selection and they have good sales occasionally too.

Yep - he sure looked very happy last time I saw him - and my old bike! If my planning was better, I would have taken a picture of him as he pulled away from my driveway.
Mr Mook, enjoy the bike and ride safely. I was glad to see you got a great set of full leathers and went to the absolute best training course around.

I took the KLR out today, and it is a fine bike, but sadly it is no VFR.
When I lived in the lower mainland I often shopped at a couple of spots on the Steveston highway...Richmond Motor Sports and Pacific Yamaha. Between the two they've got pretty good selection. Of the two, I prefer what Pacific sells but since they're both close together they make a good Saturday trip.
