Does anyone have any experience with Gaerne boots? I am looking at slowly increasing my safety gear and would like to find a set of boots that offer protection and are still comfortable to walk around in when I get off the bike.

I have no experience with their street boots but I do know there motocross/dirt boots definitely rank up there in quality. I would think a company with an off-road boot rep. like they do would have good quality street boots as well (like A-stars does). Hopefully you can find someone with an actual experience with the boots though for an opinion.
I have a pair of Gaerne ST Dry boots - http://gaerne.ridesh...;products_id=27 . Very nice boots, great quality and comfort for walking once broken in. They have not been tested in the rain yet but have a waterproof lining.
Have the ST boots also from newenough.com for 99.00 when they were available. They were supposed to have a waterproof liner, but mine did get wet during the last big rain I rode in,...on one foot. Go figure.
I have Gaerne 'Espresso' boots, they're a Lorica/leather waterproof touring boot.
I mainly bought them for off-bike comfort, easy to walk in and could wear them all day (I've worn them to work on days where I was riding somewhere after work).
Pretty happy with them, I'd buy Gaerne again.

Thanks for the replies. I may grab a pair of the Jet boots, I like the shorter boots, and if I can wear them around when I reach my destinations, all the better. How is the fit on them? Due they run fairly true to size?

RE. sizing, mine are snug but that could be my bad (I bought a heap of gear at once so was pretty excited, might have overlooked the correct sizing :salesman: )
Will check tonight and write again.
