Have any of you bought anything from Top Gear Leathers.com? They have two piece leather suits from $280 - $375. I know the old adage "you get what you pay for", but $280 for a perfed two piece? C'mon! I need some gear for the hot weather coming up and think this might be worth a try.
I don't have any experience with that brand, but you might want to take a look at AGV. They use those as rental suits at Code's superbike school and they were all rashed up and still being used. I was impressed.

old post and replys for top gear leathers
I too was looking at top gear leathers when i was shopping for a suit but went with the agvsport forza 2pc instead, Sorry i havent posted a review yet
Leathers for xmas
They are perfed beneath the arms, 2 zipper vents both front n rear, seem fairly sturdy (weight 11lbs)
There are no vents in the pants but i can tell you the crotch area sure vents well especially in cold weather.
Post n pics of cold weather ride wearing Agv 2pc suit
These come with all the pads and knee puks, very comfortable after you break them in.
Follow link in (leathers for xmas) for where i bought mine.
Do a search on google products web page to find the lowest price and use the Price match option from where i bought mine (last post i think) I had seen them for as low as 290.00 on google searches.
Hope this helps..
What are your sizes, Note Agv is also available at most dealers if you want to look at them in person, Parts unlimited catalog list price is 399.99

Sam do you always have a cig in your mouth, or just in pics? You rock man!
Yeah i pretty much smoke constantly <_< Dont let me get below 30mph on the bike and stop at a stop light, i will light one up real quick and smoke while i ride, Modular helmets are great..
Gotta figure out how to route me a cig holder below the wind screen and a tube thru my suit to my helmet
If smoking dont kill me something else certaintly will
