A*s Smx Boots... Is This A Good Deal?

I found a pair of Alpinestars SMX boots in my size for $115. I have zero experience with buying good boots, but it looks like a solid deal to me.

Can anyone vouch personally for these? or give me a warm and fuzzy about spending some cash today??

FWIW, these are Used Boots.

lots of reviews... like anything else opinions are like..... Good Luck I did the same thing when I found a pair of Sidi's used in my size, great deal and already broken in!!

Thanks guys... nowi found a 1 year used Scorpion Phantom perf leather jacket for $175. I just camt do both but need to upgrade some gear for summer... ugh. Decisions decisions Sent from my handheld-sending-thing...

Depending on their condition, the price is good. These are typically a $200+ boot.

I might just bite the bullet and buy both the jacket and boots. I do need to upgrade both, as I am wearing all Bilt gear right now.

I already have some new Joe Rocket gloves. That leaves only to find some nicer pants.

I would wait on the boot, i find the SMX to be much less boot than the SMX plus and the plus just went on clearance on motorcyclegear.com.

For $115 I would think you can find a used pair of boots that were more expensive new.

Thanks for the ideas... I'm a total tight-wad on spending $ on myselff. that makes this even harder.

Thoughts on this jacket? found a used one in great condition for $175...

Just looked at the SMX Plus, and even on closeout they are still $275. And of course the only size 14's they have are both low boots/shoes. :(

I dont have any personal experience with the jacket.

I know the SMX plus are still spendy on close out but they make the SMX feel like a $150 boot when new. I personally think $115 for used SMX is too much.

What size is 14 in Euro, 49?

I concur about the SMX boot. I have a pair of the vented SMX, and it is a pretty lightweight boot. My Sidi Cobras feel much more substantial.
