  4. Coolant Flush - 5Th Gen 2 Apr 2016 04:23 I've gone through 2 gal of distilled water to flush the system. Going to flush it with clean coolant to make the final coolant fill closer to 50/50.
  5. Coolant Flush - 5Th Gen 2 Apr 2016 03:12 Thanks for the reply. I've owned two other 6th gens and never did either.

  8. How to Measure Chain Slack? 27 Jul 2012 14:02 After adjusting it, the feel of the bike is soo much smoother vs jerky (Slacky/Slappy). Thanks for sharing the great info! What is the normal life span of a chain. Previous owner installed a new one about 3 years ago…
  9. How to Measure Chain Slack? 27 Jul 2012 13:46 Question. Did the adjustment last night. Double check the slack to 1 & 1/4 in (on the center stand). My question is should the chain be tight after riding and parked on it's side stand?
  10. How To Tighten The Chain? 26 Jul 2012 21:46 This is a great tutorial! Coming from a shaft driven bike before my VFR, I was dreading this moment before this thread. Cheers!
