All 30- Nicky Hayden in serious accident in Italy Ken Hill shared this. Going to miss Nicky, a truly great guy. What I posted on social media today.... The first time I officially met Nick Hayden was at a Freddie Spencer Riding school at the end of 2006. NH had just…
- Anybody do track days? I love little Piggies. Nice RC 51
- Anybody do track days? I have been doing track days for a long time and still love it. Track bike is a well sorted 06 CBR 1000rr. I have thought about bringing the VFR to the track but now I think I'll just keep her on the street. I think the…
- Nicky Finally Going To Wsbk Well after winning his first WSBK race he must feel good. He seemed to be comfortable in the wet. Old dirt bike riding skills help.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Vtec imo is a pain in the ass. I like linear power delivery. No matter how you custom dyno tune and smooth out the transition it still will never be like running all valves all the time. It is what it is though and I…
- Nicky Finally Going To Wsbk There is not much on a WSBK bike that is on a production model. But Honda has not been committed to WSBK, they have been GP focused. But with Nicky going to WSBK it might be an indicator that Honda may be doing…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Did a couple of days in the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina 2 up riding. Tires felt great even in low temps, still liking them a lot.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Still loving these tires, have done more rain days and they feel great.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Still loving the PR4's. Only 1 rain day with them but lots of grip and good feedback. A friend put them on his Concourse 14 and he really loves them. Called it power steering for the big girl.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Got about 5-hundred miles on the PR4's. Love them!
- 190/55 On A Vfr? I have read the PR4's really shine in the wet but get a little greasy when its really hot out and your riding hard. Any 1st hand experience on this? Thanks
- Track Only Tires. What U Using? Yes you should run warmers with these slicks.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Time for tires, the GPA's are done. Thinking about PR4's, seem to be good on the VFR.
- Track Only Tires. What U Using? Current slicks are Dunlap NTec's. Ran them last year too at Barber, Mid Ohio, Homestead and PBIR. Great grip with a wide temperature range with the medium compound. Even in very cold temps at Barber last year in…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? I have plenty of clearance with Dunlop GPA 211's. After thousands of miles on the last set all seems well. This is probably going to be the last set on the VFR as I don't plan running on the track in the wet anymore.…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Well I am on my second set of off DOT race tires from my track bike, 190/55. Can't argue with free. After running the first set of GPA 211's on the VFR I feel it handles great, did not change the geometry enough to…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Thanks for the replies, some interesting stuff in there. The tires are free so that's why I did it. I know its not optimal but is so much better than the tires I had on it. If I lower the pressure and take my time in…
- It's Time For New Tires! timmythecop I am also shopping. what shall I put on the RC51? (of course the most expensive size in all brands is what I need: 190/55/17) Thinking Pilot Power 4 I tried the Bridgestone BT 003's on my CBR when they first…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? I put the GPA's on my VFR and have about 1000 miles on them. They feel SO much better then the stock Metzler's. I hated those tires. I'm not sure if the taller profile is helping turn or just the tire itself but…
- New Vfr800 Vtec Will Be Introduced At Eicma. SEBSPEED Maybe Honda is watching, and maybe they included normal forks on purpose, just for the sheer entertainment of watching us change them out... Or just leaving room for upgrades on future models.
- New Vfr800 Vtec Will Be Introduced At Eicma. For the most part I like the new VFR but I still would take it without vtec. The new CBR SP looks to be ready for the track. I bet it will come at a very hefty price though with that suspension and brakes. My 06 CBR…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? I guess I forgot to say that I have both front and rear GPA's ans will change out both, but the rear was a different size from stock hence this thread. The front is the same size as stock.
- Cleaning Techniques? It can force water past the sealed O rings. Very bad for chains.
- What Is Going On With My Rear Sprocket? Check to see it the master link was riveted on to tight.
- Cortech Sport Saddlebags [image: Cortech1_zps5d32d691.jpg] [image: Cortech2_zps2cd8b621.jpg]
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Thanks for the info. I have sport toured on the CBR many times with both the GPA's and the Michelin PP when it was doing double duty. You do need to make sure to take it easy in the twisties until the tires are warm and…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Upon looking at the stock tire I realized there is no Tire hugger on the VFR.LOL. So vertically a 55 will fit. I guess I was thinking about how tight it is putting on tire warmers on the CBR with a 55.
- 190/55 On A Vfr? The 190/55 is a higher profile than a 190/50. It will change the geometry by making the ass a bit higher. A lot of people are running the 55 for the track for a bigger contact patch. I tried it years ago for track days…
- 190/55 On A Vfr? Has anyone ran a 190/55 on a 6th gen? I have some Dunlap GPA's that I ran for a few track days on my CBR that are just sitting. I run slicks most of the time on the CBR for the track and have 2 sets of rims to switch…
- Cortech Sport Saddlebags I ran the tri Cortech bags for years on my CBR 1000rr and just last month put them on my 09 VFR. I have FMF's and they get warm but no problems with the bags. I might make brackets like the above post.
