I'm wondering if anyone has any experience walking around in these boots (or the older sport boots)?. I'm looking at getting new boots and haven't decided yet between touring or sport boots. Originally I wanted the tcx synergy wp. Then I missed out on some x-five gore-tex ones on Ebay. Then I saw the vega boots. Checked here and they seemed to get good reviews. I was looking to spend around 125$.... So the question is are the sport II boots comfy enough to walk in, or should I save the difference and get the touring boots or forget the whole thing and go back to the tcx boots???? I think I'm starting to lose it here....

Thanks Jesse

I have not worked in boots that high... seems like it would get uncomfortable. I have worked in these and also in these for days on end with no problems.

Thanks House, I already have a pair of a-stars octane's for my daily/short trips. I'm looking more for a long trip all weather boot, maybe even a track day (maybe). I guess at that price I could buy both, have my cake and eat it too....

I had some of the low cut vega's. Don't recall the name. They were really comfortable, but I didn't think they were well made at all. I've got tall boots now, and they are ok to walk around in, but I wouldn't want to do any serious walking in them.
