  5. 6th gear 13 Apr 2010 16:14 I think I've been in 6th maybe twice since I bought the bike a year ago. I haven't had the occasion to do a long ride, and even then, it wouldn't be on slab. My commute there is too much traffic.
  6. New member and new VFR Interceptor 12 Apr 2010 13:36 Welcome to the secret club that knows silver is the fastest color! Enjoy!
  7. FLAPPER AND SNORKLE DISABLE 6 Apr 2010 12:46 With both, you're just getting more air into the engine. I disabled the flapper, but left the snorkle. On the 6th gen, the snorkle just didn't seem long or oddly shaped enough to make much difference.
  8. Seats/seat mods 5 Apr 2010 19:28 I sent a spare saddle down to greatdaytoride.com. So far I like it, but I honestly haven't been on it enough yet to give a good review. It is better than stock for sure.

  12. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 29 Mar 2010 16:41 Some of you have mentioned talking with a tech at PC. How did that go? I've got to look at my connections AGAIN, as I enabled map by gear and I got nothing in the trims. When I tried to manually calibrate, it wasn't…
  13. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 26 Mar 2010 01:40 No custom tune, nooooooo. I should be able to play with mine this weekend.
  14. 16mm hole saw for R&G frame sliders? 25 Mar 2010 16:09 IMHO, if you hit that hard you'll have other things to worry about.
  15. 16mm hole saw for R&G frame sliders? 25 Mar 2010 14:20 Dremel as well.
  16. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 23 Mar 2010 12:28 Yeah, the trims were scattered (I've only done one, 15 min. ride)and varied greatly, but based on what I've read on this board, that doesn't seem wrong. And, referring to earlier, the led on my autotune is indicating…
  17. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 20 Mar 2010 22:36 I'm getting 0s. I'll push on the connector again. When I looked at "about" it did show that it saw a wideband, and the status says 2 devices. edit - Went back out and pulled the terminator and the cable. On the…
  18. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 20 Mar 2010 21:58 I went through that less than excellent upgrade again and it does say 1.4. Still no AFR.

  21. Experiences of a PCV with Autotune on a 2004 VFR800 16 Mar 2010 16:39 Holy Power Commander! I wish I hadn't stumbled on to this at lunch. What I read was great. I hope I can follow it when I start tuning!
  22. New PCV software / firmware 15 Mar 2010 16:52 Other than the additional O2 option, will these upgrades change your/our setup? Actually, the additional O2 currently only helps 2 cylinder bikes. None of the changes that I saw will directly help the VFR except those…

  25. Frame Sliders For A 2008 Vfr 24 Oct 2009 15:38 alwaysaware That looks pretty damn good. What brand are those Popsrcr? R&G. I didn't do a spectacular job with the cutting, but you can't tell unless you're right up on it.
  26. Frame Sliders For A 2008 Vfr 23 Oct 2009 13:29 alwaysaware I think the reason why the frame slidders that you have to drill to install are so effective, is because they are centrally located and ballanced to keep your bike from touching the ground. All of the non…

  39. Next Basic Question 30 Apr 2009 17:16 So, adjusting the front suspension. I assume you use a screwdriver? Is there something else? I tried a screwdriver and it worked, but the blade isn't as wide as the slot so it cuts into the metal. What do you guys use?
