So I was changing out my damaged subframe with a recent fleabay purchase and saw this. Now I'm hoping both pictures show up. Is this something that was added for heated gear or something? As always any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a good possibility and is the same type connector I have for both my heated jacket and connection of a battery charger. Pretty difficult to tell for sure unless you trace it back and find out where the wires go. Did you check it with a voltmeter?
SAE connector. I have one for my heated vest. As stated, very common to use for battery chargers. As it came on a second hand subframe, I doubt it is still connected to anything. Lets hope the seller didnt cut the wires, and just unbolted it from the battery.
What BCMCRider said.......... As long as we're on this that's a popular plug, but one thing to remember when buying electric add-ons is to try and have things that will fit the same plug on your bike, then you'll keep the total amount of plugs on your bike to a minimum.
if it is connected to the battery - you could connect a trickle charger
Battery Tender plug most likely.....
Specially if it's connected directly to your battery terminals.

Timmy it didnt come with the new frame. It is connected to the battery. I never noticed it before with my seat off until I got the new frame. That sucks its for a trickle charger. The wife bought me a speedcharger for xmas. Which does not have this type of connection. Thanks for all the replies.

Easy enough to change or add this connector to your new charger. The other option is a Battery Tender junior which comes with the right plug and has a good reputation for NOT overcharging and frying batteries. Not to say the speedcharger will but I'm not familiar with it. I will say that an inexpensive trickle charger from Canuck tire cost me a battery and a puddle of acid on my garage floor. It had a charge light on it that would change colour to indicate a fully charged battery. The instructions in fine print said that when the light changes colour, remove the charger from the battery as it does NOT STOP CHARGING when the light changes. ?!!!???!??!!?!!?!??!?!??!!!??

I'd say you'd be better off with a battery tender as BCmcrider said. I'm OCD and wouldn't trust myself not to have a battery tender.

My speed charger charges the battery up to 100% then goes into a trickle type of mode. Where it only give the battery juice when it needs it to sustain the 100%. I don't leave it connected theentire time because I don't have power to where the bike is stored and have to charge the battery in the house. And with it beingin the house, thatsmy main fear is an over charge and end up with acid all over the floor. The boss wouldn't like that too much! Plus I'm not riding duringthe winter so I just take the battery out.
