New leathers for me!

I bought me a set of these on Fleabay today, only worn like twice, and absolutely perfect condition, saved $125. :cheerleader:

I was literally just on eBay looking for a nice two piece suit for cooler weather. I have a vented suit I like for warmer rides and I want a non vented one now.. That is a great deal you got too! Good luck on finding the jacket.

There are a couple on the 'bay right now, new, no screaming deals though.
Dainese has an online shop right on their website, I just have to compare "all-in" pricing with shipping and see whose got the best deal.

Yeah, I've seen a few and there is one that is decently priced (less than $900 w/free shipping), in my size and they have a "make an offer" option, so I may just do that and see what happens. I was trying to find a used one for a bit less but if they'll take my offer I just may pull the trigger. The next tick will be to hide it from the wife long until I can come up with a story of how it "fell off a track" and I couldn't pass up the deal!

Less than $900 must be the full suit, 1pc or 2.

I'm buying the jacket and pants separately as the Avro jacket comes with a removable liner if you buy it alone, but if you get the Avro 2pc suit, the jacket has no liner. Dunno why, but that's the deal.

You forgot to mention it will match your bike! lol

My Dianese kit is 6 years old and it has performed flawlessly. Jacket, pants and gloves...time for new gloves that the palm rot has set in from improper care but everything has been top notch.

Those look great! Always liked the Dainese stuff.

I'm depressed!  The 10 lbs I've gained (mostly around my gut) in the last year has me barely able to fit into my RS Taichi perforated one piece.  And boy, it is uncomfortable!  I was able to stuff into my two piece Joe Rocket GPX suit yesterday though.  Getting old sucks!

I finally pulled the trigger on a 2 piece Avro set. It was listed for $949.95 with a make an offer option. I offered $775.00 and they accepted, only bummer is that the seller is in California so I have to pay the sales tax (7.75%). I still get free shipping though! I ended up paying $835.06 OTD for a new suit, so I am happy. I paid $860.00 OTD for the Laguna Seca vented 2 piece last year at the MC Show in Long Beach. Coincidentally, it turns out it is the same vendor I bought the first suit from. Now how to explain the second leather suit on my closet???

I've never found an off the rack pair of riding pants that fit right. I wish. :rolleyes:

+1 for Z's. I see Adolf for all my leathers. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING fits me off the peg. I'm built all weird and outside of general manufacturing specs.

I'm having some track leathers being designed right now. Will order them in the winter.

I think women have it harder finding gear that fits, or just gear for that matter. Unless your a Harley Chick that just wears chaps and a tank top, there's tons of that stuff all over! Before a long weekend trip, the wife and I went all over looking for some riding pants that she felt comfortable in (She didn't want leather though) and NOTHING really worked for her, we must have visited at least 6-7 stores and dealers with no luck. The in-house selections were little to none or limited to odd sizes. Finally we went to the D-Store in OC and found her something she was happy with. Of course buying at the D-Store cost me a little bit more, but she was finally happy she found something that was not uncomfortable or "ugly"! IMO, the gear selection/styles for women isn't all that great, so I get having to go to the custom side of things. Fortunately the Dainese stuff fits me well and I don't have a problem with their sizing.

I took a chance and picked a number I would be OK with and they agreed to it. So if you see a post on eBay for a Jacket with a "make an offer", pick a number...you might get lucky!
