In my depression from all the cold cloudy weather I started to daydream of riding again and started playing old videos from Independence Pass. I decided to string together 3 rides up the pass and into Maroon Bells National Monument all in the same year. First in Spring in snow capped Glory, Summer up into the Bells, and Last in the thick of Autumn fall colors.

Hey Slammer, another great sequence of vids, kewl man really liked it. Music was great too, you guys live in what must be the best place to ride, ok, that's debatable, but one thing for sure, it's not florida :)

Thanks, what else is there to do, I am up all night and well its about 17 degrees out and spitting snow. I had fun making it, tried to get the sequence of the vids to match the beat of the music. Not as high of quality as the last one otherwise the darn file would be huge.

Enjoy, I am Know there is some great riding all over the US, maybe we can get Afterburn to show us some more of the Alps too!! Music was all Pat Metheny, I am syched he is comming to Denver for a gig soon! PMG!!

Florida has Flipper though right!!

Just finished watching it all......cool stuff....nice editing etc.

I was going to ask if the music was all Pat Metheny but you already answered that one.

Definitely interesting to be able to see the season changes like that...you guys have some juevos to be riding in the snow (insert bow down emoticon)

Thanks for sharing.

Deep breaths, deep breaths, phew. Damn HS, I had a serious cabin fever attack after viewing the video. I hope to be able to join in on more of the fun this season. I'm working on the protective gear. Don't think I didn't notice the way you guys looked at my textile jacket and jeans after screaming down some twisty two laner. I know, I know, I should get the proper protective gear before all the goodies for the bike. I'm learning (slowly).

HS, what video editing software did you use?

Nozz

P.S. Snowed 9 inches last night. Damn. That'll take a while to melt.

Ahhh, you're killling me! Beautiful pics. I'll have to watch the videos when I get back to home in the Kootenays of BC (bloody dialup here in WA). If it's going to be cold it may as well snow, at least you can ski...which is hopefully what I'll be doing this weekend.

Well the snow was all above the tree line, and the temp at the top was around 60 degrees, it was dry on the pavement, I mean not icy, there was some runoff but nothing icy. That was a good 3 rides for sure, even Bills wife was enjoying it pillion, Independence Pass is a rather bumpy road!

Microsoft movie maker 2 - a free download on the microsoft website!

HS,

Bike is at APEX right now getting the valves and subframe done. I am looking forward to some Spring rides! In particular, I want to head down south and check out NM. Maybe a Fri-Sat overnight trip.

Oh yea I would not mind that, perhaps into Santa Fe I have family there. I could show you some of the great rides I have done there. Mora, Paliades Sil, Cumbres Pass, Bandeilier, the ride up to the top of Sandia, Red River, oh there some good stuff to ride down there. I am sort of stuck though working every week till Sat morning and every other till Sun morning. I am free Sun - Tue for extended rides.

 Great movie and that is a wonderful area to be riding in. I could only dream of being in a place like that. New York is a little harsh these days.

Keep'em coming! :wheel:

Very nice. Although I am enjoying skiing I am gettin' impatient for spring.
Thanks for the effort of putting these together, reminds me of what I have to look forward to this summer.

Funny thing about that photo on the top featured in the homepage, the cloud looks like a big fish eating a little fish.

Great shots. Thanks for taking the time to compile them. Makes me wish I had that scenery in my back yard too. John
