I am about 6'2 to 6'3 and I weigh in at about 280lb and I currently ride a kawi zx-12r and I am looking at either a yamaha fz-1 or a vfr for my next bike and i am looking for comments from guys my size to see how they fit on a vfr compared to something larger like a busa or my zx-12r.
I would also like any comments from anyone who has made a switch from a sport bike to a vfr which in my opinion is still a sport bike, just a different kind of sport bike on what they miss if anything from their rocket other than back and wrist pain.

Hi I am 6'!" and about 240 I ride the 954 also the only thing I miss is the torque of the litre bike, roll on from 60 - 80 3 sec or so from 80 - 100 the same. On the VFR you just downshift 2 gears and it jumps. Love the way it handles and in a cross wind it is great it is one put together machine....now if it just had about 20-25 more ponies.

it will take days for my tongue to untie after trying to read that signature aloud
-I'm 6'4" 270lbs, so I'm about your size. I can ride multiple 400-500 days on my ergonomicely (?) stock vfr. My knees get a little sore though, not enough to whine about.
- I thought it was a sportbike! My parents and everybody at work call it a crotchrocket so it must be. I'm not gunna tell them its not. I can't comment on your power concern, up untill this bike the fastest I've been on was a ex500.
I'm a whisper over 6' and a svelt 175 lbs and that's the heaviest I have ever been. The VFR gives up little to a liter class bike, but it is different. Much more comfortable, but less acceleration and braking. Everything else is good.
I'm 6'1" 210 pounds and the best thing I did was an after market seat (sargent) The only thing is a sore wrist from holding the throttle all day. Vista-cruise lock works great for relieving that.
