I have some thime off this wekeend so I'm looking for a good day trip near Charleston, SC. What I'm looking for is some nice curvy roads, I'm sick of the slabs around here.
The only thing is that is needs to be within~200 miles of charleston (any more than that and I gotta get a chit signed by the CO, or risk going to mast)
I was thinking of either heading upstate, mbe visiting a friend in the marines up there. Or heading down to hilton head and savannah.

Welcome to the site. I live in Beaufort just south of you. Have to get together for a ride. I go out into the country and there aren't many curvy roads, but riding is still riding. You'll have to come to deals gap the end of April. PM me if you want to ride Sunday.
Hi Vash. I live in Columbia and when I get an urge for some twisties, I head towards Greenville and Ceasar's Head. There are some great roads there but I don't think that will meet your 200 mile limit. If you get it signed off, it's well worth the trip. It's kinda fun to cruise around Lake Murray here in Columbia, but you won't find many twisties. Hope you find something good. Daniel
Daniel, I now live in Lexington (transplant from Charlotte) and I would love to know some of the twisties in the Greenville area since it isn't that far and could easily be ran in a day.
