I had a great ride today with a great bunch of guys and gals from the STN board. I was the sole representative for the VFR. COLD ride but well worth meeting all those new riders. I have decided my toes are going to get a present for their 40th birthday on Monday. FOOTWARMERS!
UFO, Rode with Him to Mount Rushmoor good guy to ride with too. I wanted to make that ride but It was a work day, I mean night, had to get my ugly sleep. I really enjoy riding with Steve hes a good fella to ride with as long as he doesnt eat funky bread!
I forget the STN site is there sometimes. Haven't browsed over there in months. Maybe I should pay more attention though because I immediately recognized the Conoco in Morrison - a ten minute ride from my front door. I would also bet that I saw the guy in the black and yellow jacket making his way that direction yesterday morning. Unfortunately I was in my cage yesterday a.m..I could be missing some great local rides with those guys.
Corbeau, Feb 27 2005, 12:16 PMUnfortunately, he went to the Dark Side... (in the form of the FJR1300, not the Blackbird, which is the more common meaning of "Dark Side")
Funny, over here in UK VFR Land, the "Dark Side" is almost exclusively taken to mean BMW's, especially the GS models.
Of course one of the other mods over there is the very wonderful Smeggy, who doesn't like full Scottish breakfasts.. But does like a
Rod.
