I received my Moto pak g-35 today. I was really impressed with its quality. I liked the handles and backpack straps on both sections. I liked map sections on the base unit the first section and the second section. It comes with a sewn in rain bag to cover it in inclimate weather. And the bottom section comes with several outside small sections to stuff a wallet or glasses or whatever.

Things I didn't like. With both bags mounted on the VFR there is no way I can see anything on the instrument panel except the neutual light(but then again why would I need to see anything else?) Well maybe fuel....Next thing I did not like is the fact the top bag will not zip into the base. Something about zippper differences. Darn the top section is very low profile and perfect for trips to work.

I called Motopak and they are working on this zipper issue. Oh well, it's still a good deal for about $100. I don't have my camera with me right now but I'll take some pics when I get home tonight. fing02.gif

VFR_FLA, I use the top bag with the base when I commute and save the middle bag for long distance touring. Got mine in Jan 05. Was there a design change? If I remember, I'll take a pic and post it tomorrow.

BTW: The Motopak guys are great to deal with. fing02.gif
