I just got the honda hard bags and noticed there is a strap for the inner half but not the outer half. I had a ST1300 and the side bags had little holes for the inner and outer part of the bag where I placed little bungee cords from walmart. It work great at keeping stuff seperated and in place when opening and closing saddlebags. Any suggestions??

Thanks,

Steve

You will probably have to rig something. I personally use a bag that I can put in and take out any time I need.

The Honda saddle bag liners are well made and fill the outer half of the bags.

Hello...

Do you need any special tools or special instructions for installation of the Honda hard bags?

I just ordered a set for my 05 Silver so I am eagerly anticipating their arrival.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The bags are not that difficult to install. You only need a few tools, mostly you'll have to wiggle things around until all the holes line correctly. Don't tighten anything until your all done getting all the bolts lined up. It will take about an hour going really slow.
