Yeeehaaa, just signed up for a day at Gratten Raceway in May! Can't wait till this miserable Michigan snow melts and hit the day of training and track time. Three guys from work & I signed up. Looks like fun & educational. Here is where I signed up: http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/index.html
I've not been to Gratten, but have done a few Sportbike Track Time track days. They run a good show, and are well organized. Follow their suggestions/rules for bike prep, etc, and you'll be fine.
Dennis The Menace, Mar 15 2005, 07:28 PMhope you enjoy it. only 58 days to go to my first day this year.
I'm doing the Gratten track days on April 30th and May 1st with Trackoholics. Saturday is CW and Sunday CCW. Too bad I didn't see this earlier. I'd love to have another viffer there with me.
Searching here for bike prep tricks and found this thread.

Wolverine - I couldn't help but notice you're in Ann Arbor. I'm in Ann Arbor 5+ days a week. I work on the corner of Huron and Plymouth in those huge grey buildings. When it warms up, keep an eye out for a yellow '03. I'm guessing I'll be the only one in town!
You would be correct. I'm in toxicology. I've been there 7 years but haven't ventured very far. I've been down North Terrirorial a couple of times but always with a bunch of cruisers (they don't like to lean!). I'd greatly appreciate finding some roads worth riding. And, as far as warming up, I don't ask for much. Anything over 40 in the morning and you might find me on my bike!
