The secrets out - SLammer has learned that Canada has some of the best roads on the planet, and now I have as a small sample - some proof.
Took this photo between Terra Cotta, and Belfountain Ontario. The roads here are flooded with sport bikes in the summer, and even some idiots like me, in the almost spring (sorry Dude!)
THe speed rating in Canada is also a little different - we have to be certified by a racing school prior to getting our license.
THe SH#t eating grin I'm wearing in the last photo is after I returned - just before I washed the bike for the second time today.
Bailey - I used your trick and armor alled the seat - made it a lot easier to move my fat ass around! :beer:
ohhh please those road pics look like south florida with snow!!! :P the reason you guys got your own section is somehow you guys caught slammer is some dastardly act and are blackmailing him! :unsure: :lol:

IF I lived in Saskatchewan or Manitoba - I'd trade the Viffer in, and buy a Busa - cause unfortunately - there are some seriously straight roads there!
(I also really wish I had the skill set to take twisties at 240Km/Hr!! )

Canadian roads aren't bad at all when theres no snow on them. The whole continent is blessed with open spaces and long touring roads. :thumbsup: I've been on that stretch of road in Ontario often Ken, and tried on occasion to break the law (limit). Since moving to the west coast however, i've lucked out with warmer weather and ridden almost everday since February. Roads in BC do make the Ontario stuff look pretty damn straight. I'd like to add some Canadian notable roads:
Hwy 17 - Over lake Superior, Ontario Mississauga Rd to Belfountain - Southern Ontario Snake Road - Burlington Ontario (Shorter but fun) Cabot Trail -Cape Breton, Nova Scotia EPIC!! Sea to Sky Highway - Coastal Mtns, B.C. (pics of it are in my gallery and i think i'm currently the featured member) Home sweet Home :rolleyes:

Yo KK - this'd be a great time for your to visit your Aussie work coleagues (refer our emails) cos the temp here's 24-30 degrees sunny each and every day. Sure beats roadside snow!
Tomorrow I'm riding with about 25 others and my pillion friend Danni from 9am to about 3pm, incl. obligatory stops for strong coffee up in the hills around Adelaide. Am looking forward to that, I can tell you!

It's been about 7 hours since I did my ride - and I'm still a little chilled. and yes - I was dressed for it...... :goofy: COuld barely move with the layers of clothing!!

I couldn't join him because I was stuck in customs. KKKen's cousin is a customs agent and was supposed to help me but all he did was drink all my hooch. :pissed: :lol:

Ah - at least you guys are riding! I've got ice/snow all the way up to my front door and can't get the bike out of the house! I spent all afternoon shoveling like a crazy woman just to free the Suzuki so I can ride it up to Honda - sell it and pick up the VFR!

Gravel - don't forget gravel. It's not a highway unless there's alot of gravel! I'll have my Suzuki freed by Friday. I don't care how long it takes ----she'll be free and I'll be on the road!
