Sorry if someone has already had this idea...

They come off clean, and only leave a small hole. A plastic plug and some silicone sealant and you're done. The black plug actually matches the bags better than the picture makes it look. For those with other color bags, you'd have more trouble finding a matching color plug I'm sure. Or, you could just have a black one. Still has to look better than those huge ass reflectors. :D

Forgive my ignorance, but why would you want to potentially -reduce- your visibility to drivers behind you?

I think you mean from the side? (Since the reflectors are on the side.)

I remove all my reflectors, off all my bikes. (And, the UK version of the bags don't come with reflectors, so a lot of people order them from the UK just for that reason.)

(Can't edit my first post. That link is no longer valid.)

Pardon my squirelly ignorance, but removing all the reflectors off of a black VFR doesn't sound like the greatest idea. Aren't you worried about becoming a hood ornament from some teenage driver talking on a cell phone while smoking a cigarette and drinking a coffee?

Not in the least. A few little reflectors aren't going to help the idiot cagers out there... Have to be defensive all the time anyway.

While I'm not sure I'll remove the reflectors on my bags anytime soon, those are great pics of the Asphalt set-up.
