Great info !!!!!! I'm looking hard at the GIVI luggage but am thinking of going with the E52 top & E21 side cases mounted to a wingrack. I haven't ruled out the V46 yet. Anyones opinion is welcome on this setup.

I am also considering E52 top and E21 sides. The exterior dimensions on the E52, as listed in the catalog, were actually smaller than the V46 despite the slightly larger interior. The E52 also has a clean look, but those V46s have changeable color plates making it transferrable to another bike ... hmmm. I can't decide either.
I found the look of the FZ and P166 mounting brackets to be much nicer looking than the wingracks. The photo of the silver VFR with wingracks and top case in the brochure looked awkward IMHO.

I have E52 (1 year) and side bags E41 (3 years now). Really much space for me and for her too  They were originally purchased for my Transalp, then I bought the VTEC with the new frame. It's the greatest value of standard products - and one of the reasons why I don't have Ducati...
Both Transalp and VFR have fallen because of bad parking (my fault) with the bags on. This saved the fairings - no problem for frame and bags only were dusty :)
Here's another vote for E360 side bags. I have two of them, and a Wingrack. Here's a warning: The Wingrack comes in two colours: Black, and Gray. The Gray is *PRIMER*, and can be painted to match your bike. I used an aluminum paint to finish mine, which looks okay on my Silver VFR. I also picked up a used Monorack, which I use for day-to-day commuting. I can switch between Monorack and Wingrack in about two minutes, the mounting hardware co-exists quite nicely.
The Wingrack blocks the turn signals on the 94-97 VFR's, FWIW. I'm looking at designing some LED signals to mount elsewhere, the GIVI stock signals look like butt when the bags are off the rack.
