Winter is over in Qubec yeahhhhh!!
It's been my longest winter since I was born. But now, I have six long months to bypass the 100,000km on my 2002 and I expect having it near of 125,000km at the end of the season :goofy:
The luck :
I was installing my battery this afternoon, when my neighbour arrived. I didn't expect him that soon, so my car wasn't parked very well in my parking place (my VFR is parked behing my car). I must tell that it's an underground parking lot without a lot of light.
My neighbor backed up his car further on his side. While he was backing up, I heard a friction and I thought he has just passed over my battery!! It wasn't possible because I had already put it in place. Walking toward his car to know the reason of the friction, I discovered that my seat was lying on the ground and my neighbour tire's car has just touched it on the side on the leather and nothing else; absolutly nothing broken!!
I couldn't believe such a luck, mostly because my seat was rebuilt by a specialist for $200 and I couldn't ride without this modification.
Also, during my ride a truck bypassed me on the Pierre-Laporte Bridge and came back on my lane. Then, I saw a rock slowly moving toward me and hit my bike in the front :pissed:. I think it was my first rock on my bike (not so bad for a 83,000km one). Two seconds later, absolutly the same pattern, another rock, same size, same color; it was slowly moving toward me and this one passed under my front tire.
I took the next exit to check first if I had a flat tire and then if there was something broken in the front. Nothing wrong!! Probably the first rock hit the front black plastic.
I hope the rest of the season will be more "quiet".
Ciao!
