I thought I should take more clothes and gear than I could cram into my tank bag on this trip to Barber than I did last year.
I bought a luggage rack from a VFRD member and figured I would get a cheap duffle bag or something to strap to it.
Saturday my wife and I shopped around and couldn't find anything I was happy with so she says "Here's some money, go and buy what you want. Happy early Birthday!" SWEEET!!! wub.gif
Sunday morning I'm at Cycle Gear waiting on them to open the doors.
I got a Tour Master Cortech Tail bag a Two piece rain suit and a spiffy new bungee net. COOL! smile.gif
I put on the luggage rack, tail bag, tank bag and loaded everything down to set the sag. It made quite a difference with about 25 lbs added to the bike.
Rode it to work today to see how it handles with all the stuff strapped to it.
Absolutely smooth and stable, very comfy. I was really surprised how nice it was.
I guess there is something to be said about bigger and heavier bikes.
Anyway, I'm ready to go. Lets go! Can we go now? How 'bout now? tongue.gif
