I have been checking out hard bags at www.twistedthrottle.com and am torn between the Givi rack and Keyless cases, or the Krauser rack and K4 cases. I like the Givi because you can access without a key, and the Krauser because the rack is very elegant. Both look good, anyone tried either???
I looked at the keyless bags when I bought mine, but decided against them. Instead, I went with the E360 bags, because they come with the lid fully painted, instead of just the keyless cover. They're also symmetrical, so they don't look odd when I use a single one on the top rack.
So for me it was Wingrack with Toprack, plus two E360 bags. I didn't look at Krauser bags, to be honest i've never heard of them... But I know a lot of happy people with Givi bags/racks.
Since then i've purchased the topcase rack, which is just the top rack and no side rack (mounts under the tail, completely differently than the Wingrack). I can swap between them in about 60 seconds, so when i'm just booting around town with a single bag I can use the top rack, but when I go touring I can put the full wingrack on, carry both bags, and have the top plate of the wingrack for strapping down other stuff. Extremely versatile.
