Just curious to see how many of you are planning to attend a ride this summer. I'll be at the "Yukon Ride '05" June 23-26th in Whitehorse. As well, I'm thinking about the Skagway "Show and Shine" July 4th. Is there a ride in Alaska in July or August that anyone might know about?
Are there viffer rides? Anyone know?
no idea for rides going on up there, but keep us posted... sounds like a great excuse for a northern road trip!!
u pick ur bike up yet? pics!
I just sold my car today. And I'm taking a trade-in for the Suzuki. So - it's just about time to take home the Viffer! I can't wait!!!!! I have pics on the "Gallery" section - from the showroom of Honda.

Ill be attending the Ride For Sight again this year. It will be my 3rd year , and although it's predominantly HD riders, its for a good cause and a good group of over age Hell's Angels. :D If there are any s/w ont riders attending this event, drop me a pm for a possible ride out together.

I'll be doing the "Forget stress and rip through the mountains" ride every weekend. Its for a good cause - my sanity. :D

I finished the Yukon Ride '05 on the weekend. It was fun! I'll tell ya - the Harley dudes up here can sure put a good spread on - the food was terrific all weekend long - and the entertainment a hoot! Lots of Harleys though. I was the only VFR and only one of 3 sport bikes. But, it was all good. Nice to talk bikes for 4 days straight!
I did try the Harley demo ride though. Harley's are good looking bikes but they ride like you're on top of a blender - and a 3 -5 second response delay time - it made me appreciate even more - the VFR. My battle scars from way back hurt like the dickens after the Harley demo ride - I had to take the evening off from riding because I was in pain.... ah - to be over 40. Hey - it is my b-day ya know.... :P
Well - on with the summer. Couldn't get any better than this, eh? :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
sounds like ya had a wicked w/end with the Yukon Ride!
All joking aside, most guys/gals that ride and attend get togethers like that are pretty cool and social ppl. even if they are on harleys ;p
i am still trying to come to terms with my feelings towards a certain new v-rod...

Happy B-day Gypsy! Do not forget, you have not passed 40 yet. You are 21 years old with 20 something years experience!
Happy B-Day Gypsy !
Sounds like a hoot, was it a H.O.G. event. That group seems to be a very nice group of HD folks. We had them here last month and they seemed pretty cool as a whole !
Happy B'Day Gypsy :) I've met some very nice people on HD's too, wish they were all nice :) lol Have a great day!
Hiya Gypsy and happy B'day. A friend of mine rented a Harley and toured around eastern Ontario for a day and loved the cruising part but he indicated that it cornered like a toboggan.
I hope that you had a blast for your birthday.
Thanx guys - I did enjoy my birthday! And yes - I'm only 20 with 21 years or so experience - I like that attitude! Well, the Ride '05 exhausted me as well as the end of the school year (I teach therefore I ride  ) so the Skagway Alaska and the Dawson Ride I decided to opt out and catch up on sleep. Tonight or tomorrow I'll shave the seat so I can get both feet down at the same time when I'm at a stop light! It will make longer rides more comfortable - I won't have to limit the stopping to where I know I can put my toes down!
Summer is turning out wonderful up here. Glad I purchased the VFR. He's a beauty. :wheel:
