I thought somebody would be interested in pics of a trip from PHX to Grand Tetons, WY to Durango, CO. Roads were incredible. I'm goin' back and this timeon a Viffer (if the damn thing ever arrives). We did 2500 miles, leaving at 2 pm on a friday and returning Tuesday at 4 pm.
Don't pass the Grand Tetons, Flaming Gorge, or Durango if you ever plan a trip around that area. The rode out of the Grand Tetons going east is incredible. Fly fisherman heaven i would suspect. Flaming Gorge loop, that goes across a dam that is more impressive than Hoover Dam, is a road the federal gov't must have built for motorcycles; best high speed sweepers I've ever been on. The pass going into Durango tops over 11,000 ft (on the road!) and is beautiful.
I have more pics and I'll post/email the route if anyone is interested. The pics do no justice, only took them when stopped for another reason. BTW, put the Magna up for sale immediately. Great bike, just has poor range and storage.

Coal Bank Pass. This pic is taken at around 11,000 ft. The Rockies are really big.
