VFR Discussion Group -> McClure Pass

New Video

After reviewing my video this year I discovered I have some unused video of McClure Pass hwy 133 from back in August from my 500 mile Trip to the Black Canyon with Reddog and Brian. It was a fun ride.

I thought I would show a few pictures I have taken of the pass from over the years cause its one of the highlights of riding in Colorado. It is located between Aspen and Gunnison about half way on hwy 133.

I usually end up on this road around 3pm late in the day when the sun is starting to wane and the temperatures are just right for riding, Its usually after riding the Black Canyon so I am pumped to take the turns rather fast, thats one of my favorite rides in Colorado, a must ride. Here are some pictures from a trip back in 2003 with 4 of us VFRD Colorado Springs members.

Dark and Light You may be able to see the streamers of rain in the middle it was fantastic to see the streamers moving in mid air with the wind, and boy was it windy all day long.
