VFR Peg Lowering BLS...

I'm drafting a engineering drawing for a CNC shop to bid on the design... then the
price will be announced and first batch of blocks will be offered to the members on
the list... questions???

VFR peg lowering blocks are done and I happy the way they turned out...

The pegs tuck in nice and tight...

The design drops the peg to 1.5 inches right in line with the stock position...

Next weekend... weather permitting... VFR05 will truck his VFR up to the BLS and we'll
start testing...

Once the design is finalized it's off to a CNC shop for a run of 25 sets... price shall be
announced soon after and you may start ordering... questions???

Update...
VFR05 arrived at the Busy Little Shop and we had a nice visit... We bolted up the
blocks and found that the side stand touched when retracted... I milled off some
metal and got the stand to raise up higher but the stand still comes to a rest on the
block... it is so close to full retraction that we deemed it good enough... take a look
at the pic and you be the judge...

All in all the test went well but I'll turn over the rider impressions to VFR05...

That is a 6th gen shown (I think).
Is it also good for 5th gen?
Is it also good for many other Hondas (I believe Honda uses the same pegs on many bikes)?

I like the way they are not moved forward any, so reach to the foot controls remains the same.

By the time one replaces the footpeg feelers with a short allen-head bolt, you would probably only lose about 3/4" of ground clearance.

Can I get the 2nd set since I kinda started all this when I posted my MCL lowering brackets?

I too am interested. Just waiting on the price.

Is there enough adjustment in the brake lever and shift lever? I did the Buell mod which dropped my pegs about an inch, and it seemed like at that point I ran out of adjustment on the the brake lever. Can you tell if the realtionship between the footpegs and levers will be the same as stock?

You can remove the locknut and grind down the threaded shaft on the brake lever. I think HS did a write up on this. I did it to my 4th gen and it lowered the brake lever another inch or so. If that's still not enough you could heat and bend the lever.

After VFR05 and I test the blocks... I should have the answer to the amount of ground
clearance loss...
