There was a picture of Freddie Spencer at his riding school on a 5th gen I had at one time, that I really wish I could find. The had a VFR on the left side so far, he was riding the peg on the ground and the rear wheel was physically off the ground. I tried to find it with a google search, and couldn't find it. Anyone know the picture I am talking about?

The only time my saddle bags were that close was on my 2000 and that was during a lowside. sad.gif

Proper Riding gear? Personally I would say this is proper riding gear. Mt. Shasta in the distance. Fires are causing the haze. Sorry.
