Craig and I decided to take a mid week ride together for the fun of it, just head south and see where the wind takes us, and It was windy.

We ended up in Westcliff and stopped for lunch at a pizza joint in the middle of Westcliff and Silvercliff, don't ask me why but there are 2 towns side by side in the middle of nowhere?

It was about 65 degrees F out when we left Colorado Springs and once we made it to the top of the road we found where all the snow went down south! It was still warm the sky was full of clouds as it always is near Westcliff

We headed north on 67 towards Texas Creek and stopped at a ranch to take this picture of the mountains and a weather beaten barn

The further north you go the more the mountains close in

Craig and I say hello from the top of Ridge Road in Canyon City a very narrow road one lane wide with sheer drops on either side!

Really nice pics, Miguel.  It's nice that somebody's getting out and riding around here. I'd hook up with you this weekend, but Claudia is taking the ERC and I'm retaking it with her.  Larry

WOW! That "Ridge Road" vid is extreme - looks like you're really flying at the end. Did you catch any air? Man, Ridge Road is a good name for that place.  Larry

OH yea, Craig took off like a bat out of hell and lost me! He caught some air! I did too but I was kinda trying to stay on the road and not go off the cliff!

When we were in Westcliff we stopped in at the pizza shop, (much better than that oven of a place we stopped at on our last trip together Larry) Anyway Craig says lets just share a pizza, so I ask the waitress how big are the slices on a 10" and she makes a small triangle with her hands, Too small we think! So we get a 14" pizza and boy it was huge, cheese just oozing all over your plate, we ate 3/4 of it and that was enough.

The waitress asked if we wanted a box to take it home, I said no thanks we were on motorcycles, then some huge muscle bound guy in a waist apron comes by with another box and askes the same question, very stern, I say no we are on motorcycles. He says "did you like the pizza" in a almost accusational voice, I said "yes but we are stuffed" he says "are you sure"! I can relate to that guy, being that I was a resturant manager for 12 years I took pride in my product too. I just had the impression he would punch me if I said I did not like the sausage! Craig looks at me  and flips his eyebrows up ".....OKEIE DOKIE" lets bust out of here!

So for the next 45 minutes I was just so stuffed I could not get comfy trying to keep up with Craig, I felt like I was 300lbs! heh it was a good ride!

I guess you found a whole new use for the Ohlins remote preload adjuster, then. Larry
