Well, yellow got well represented in this thread--bright--hard on the eyes......a little Visine and on to the other threads...no missing the "yellow people" on the road either(SAFE COLOR).........

also, why is he (s)he hugging the centre line?

That was one observation I made while riding motorcycle in the US, that a lot of folks hug the centre line way before you see the corner opening up.

Is this how it is taught?

As for the color, same as with the guy who mounts a red wheel on a yellow bike. Add something green and the colourscheme becomes Rasta Man.....

This is not taught, it is frowned upon, but people are scared of the outside of the lane and want to hug the inside on left turns. I used to do it, took a while to break myself of it, had to start thinking about the line I wanted to take, and not the just the corner I wanted to take.

just a bad habit. I do it sometimes if I am leary of debris or gravel on the outside line. But mostly it's just bad habit. I think in the MSF classes they actually teach staying outside until you have clear sight through the exit.

Yellow and Red only mean one thing.......

Just for the record, this is MY rainsuit. No red/yellow clash to cause "AAaaahhhhhhh....my eyes!" Pants are solid black.

That rider's too large and ugly, and those pants aren't the right straw color, so it's definitely not our "Riot Grrrl!".........no roo bars on the VFR too!
