The part that downloaded looks cool, but it stopped downloading about 30s into the video. Guess we chewed up all the bandwidth?
EDIT: Worked now after I downloaded it to my desktop. Pretty impressive. There's a line for crazy fast, and those guys stepped way over it. If anybody has any links to other races, I'd be happy to watch them, too!

Steam Packet cancels 5000 bikers' crossings to the Isle of Man 24 May 2007 12:44
Steam Packet ferries has confirmed that it has been forced to cancel the reservations of 5,000 bikers hoping to travel to the Isle of Man to watch the centenary TT.
Steam Packet is offering a full reimbursement on the ticket price or will: “endeavour to arrange an alternative crossing” but not necessarily from the same port and, more crucially, not necessarily on the same day.
However, Steam Packet has no compensation policy in place for lost hotel rooms or for those who have been given a later crossing and are struggling to find accommodation for the extra night.
The ferry company is blaming boat owners for the sudden cancellation. Laura Howland from Steam Packet said: “We�re at the mercy of the owners. Where vessels are available the operator prefers longer term charters rather than the short term runs to the Isle of Man during the TT.”
Steam Packet currently has six vessels operating throughout the TT fortnight. The worst ports affected are Liverpool and Heysham.
Howland stated: “It says in our small print when people book and pay the initial deposit that we cannot guarantee the sailing they have booked. We also make them aware again at the time they pay. We are endeavouring to get as many across as possible but obviously there are physical limits on the ports.”
Mind you, 5,000 bikers is probably only 2 boatloads, see how they stack 'm....
Excellent program and very entertaining. Those riders truly have nerves of steel. I remember them talking about how dangerous the race was decades ago. I'd be satisfied just to ride the circuit a few times. Anybody here ever do it?

Yep, I've done The Island on a Moto Guzzi LeMans. The shaft drive joint was buggered afterwards (I could scan the embarrassing picture of the bike loaded up the RAC truck while riding back to Scotland.....).
The public roads are just that, public. So while racing around the Island (outsite towns there are no speedlimits; this makes Man unique within the UK), there is oncoming/other traffic to contend with. Riding a LeMans flat out on the roads you see in the video while GSXR-R's blast past you as if you are standing still IS something you must have done once...
On "Mad Sunday", the Mountian Section is made "one-way" and you "run what ya brung". I did my stretch early early in the morning as to avoid the true nutters....
