Well guys and gals, I was out surfin' the web and came across the Corbin website, can you believe the beetle bags went up to $999 for 02-03 VFR's. That's crazy!! I was actually considering them (for a few seconds cause of the price) and now they are even more expensive than a OEM pair. I'll just wait and see if Santa brings me a OEM set :P .

How else do you expect them to pay for their legal defense??? :D
To tell you the truth, I've never even heard of anyone ever purchasing a set of beetle bags. Now they have the nerve to raise their prices (on all BB not just vfr's) :shake: , who are trying to get for a lawyer: Johnny Cochran? :P
Adding saddle bags to a VFR is a matter of taste. As far as I am concerned (here it comes), the beetle bags are a matter of bad taste. :P For that price you could get GIVI saddle bags and a rear center bag. (I think)
No big loss if you never get them anyway, I always found Beetle bags to be very "Bugly" anyway. In fact, the stylists at Corbin seems to have a habit of making ugly stuff like the now dead  Corbin Sparrow car! :shake: And those golf ball indentations at the back of some of the Beetle bag models were just weird :(

I'm pretty sure your right. I will definately be going woth OEM bags now that I just recieved my OEM trunk on Tues., so I think it would look a lil' silly with Beetle bags  .
I have beetle bags on my 98 and love em. But I didnt pay for them. They were a freebie from a moto mag buddie. I wrote a review on em about 1 month ago. I like the fit and finish, they mount up great. My only gripe is you cant take em off and put them in a hotel if you are staying over night. So you have to unload all your stuff in the parking lot.
If I had to pay for them I wouldnt have bought them. GIVI seems to be a much better deal and more rider friendly.
HispanicSlammer, Nov. 28they make your bike look like a baboon's butt from the rear.
Yes they do, I called Corbin a while ago to ask them about the baboon's butt dimples, and they said they can't make them without the dimples, wonder why?
