I looked but couldnt find the answer for sure. It looks like you can mount the V35 with the Plx166 rack only? Or do you have to have a top case rack, like the Fz166 to go with it? If thats the case I will go with the SWMotech's. I am looking for a way to mount these, dont want to buy the topcase rack right away! Thanks.

You don't need the top case rack to mount the V35 mounts. You'll just have a gap where the muffler mount that can be fixed with spacers that are supposed to be supplied with the kit...but failing that you can always try the local hardware store. I can take some pics when I get home to show you what I am talking about if I have enough time between packing and an oil change for the Summer Summit. http://www.vfrdiscus...tyle_emoticons/default/wink.gif
