2003 vs 2005 silver saddlebags

Hi all. It seems that Honda OEM luggage is very hard to find now if not impossible (discontinued for earlier models?) David Silver spares doesn't even list any. I have a 2003 VFR silver (paint code NH411M). I can't find any reference to what the original P/N for the 2003 silver saddlebags were. However it appears that some places may have 2005 saddlebags P/N 08L52MCW160 avalilable (called light silver metallic). My question is, is the bike bike paint color close from '05 (NHA30M) to 2003. Also any difference if fitment from 2005 to 2003?

PM AussieInUSA. He put the 05 bags on his 03 and I believe the colors are extremely close. Maybe he can take a pic or two as well...

I have a 2005 bike and 2 sets of hard luggage - 1 set 2003, other set 2005. Colours are close enough
Fitment is exactly the same.

I have the part number for the blue ones for 07, but you might want to check out www.accessories4bikes.com. I ordered mine from there last month, one of the few places that I could still find them.

OP: Did you email DSS to see if they can still get them?

Sometimes, if something is not listed, all you need do is ask???
