For any of you torrent-savvy MotoGP fans, racing-underground.com is a great resource. I don't get SPEED in my cable line-up and I'm not willing to cough up the extra clams to pay for a MotoGP.com subscription. But I still get my Rossi & company fix almost immediately after the race. It's the BBC version and the quality is always perfect. It's uploaded usually less than an hour after the race and there are so many seeders the downloads are almost instant. This past race was a 950MB file that downloaded in 17 minutes. There are also many other racing venues on the site that may be of interest.
Anyway, if any of you would like to join, I have three invite codes to give away. R-U recently changed their rules so there is no longer any GB difference records kept of uploads vs. downloads. Just be nice. PM me. First come, first serve.
Those invites were more popular than I thought. Sorry guys, but they are gone for now. I'll post again as soon as I get another. Those who got the invite codes, watch your User CP for invites so you can offer them to the other guys here who wanted them. It really is a great way to keep up with the races.
I don't get it... I didn't need an invite when I registered on the site... but will check to see if I have invites (I couldn't find anything to do with invites when a member here asked me for one...) maybe I'm dilsexic :mellow:
Well in User CP I have no invites... checked the FAQ and apparently ou don't get invites to hand out if your upload/download deficit is greater than 100 GB... mine's 195 GB... so no dice.
Every once in a while, private tracker sites like racing-underground will open their registrations to the public for a set period. My membership came through an invite because I missed the open invitation period. If I hear about any more open invitations being offered by r-u, I'll post here so y'all can know about it.
