Gears Navigator Tailbag - Not a bad deal

Greetings all,

I just though I'd quickly post a couple crappy iphone pics of my new Gears Navigator Tailbag. I was trying my best to shop locally, and stumbled across this company located in Toronto that charges less in CAD than USD. The bag retails for $89 CAD and includes free delivery. Capacity is 51L and it has pretty damn good build quality! It includes a rain cover as well. Their strapping system works pretty well, as the bag didn't budge over approx 1200kms last weekend. Having been pleased with my purchase, I contacted the manufacturer and the offered me an opportunity to come to their head office and check out their saddle bags (for fit and quality)

My only gripe would be the thickness of the fastening straps, but they can be very easily replaced (although I don't see the need). Altogether I would rate it an 8.5/10 for a discerning buyer.... yet for my occasional use / budget it's more like a 10/10.

As pictured the bag is filled with: 3 x shorts, 3 x t shirts, 1 x sweater, 1 x jeans, 1 x flip flops, 1 x running shoes, toiletries bag, 3 x socks & underwear, 1 x decent size bivy tent, some beers, and packed on top is my therma-rest pad.... There is still a little room to spare, but not much.

Anyways, those in the market should definitely give it consideration. Enjoy!
