Well, I finally bought new Givi luggage and a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady seat w/backrest. I got the tubular setup due to it's smaller profile and hoping that I wouldn't have to relocate my high mount canister. Luckily, it worked! Some minor drilling was necessary to relocate the shields that cover the old passenger grab handle slots. The Corbin seat wouldn't mount and lock without having to perform this adjustment. It's great having the option to lock up your stuff without worrying about theft. My other seat, the Corbin Smuggler, just didn't give me enough storage. Another advantage is that I can leave my tank bag at home.

My setup includes E21 21 liter cases in matte black. The 5th gen tubular kit includes the option of adding a third topcase if needed. A definite plus for extended touring.

edit: I need opinions on whether I should have the cases color matched to the bike or leave them as is. I was thinking of having the front and sides painted and leaving the lids matte black.

Thanks. I think the E21s are just the right size. Anything bigger would take the sportiness (sp?) away from the viffer. The canister is Two Bros. After 5 years, it's started to become a little louder. God, I love that sound! Maybe next year, I'll get it repacked.  :goof:

Love the bags!!! Did the high pipe require any changes to the mounting brackets for the Givi's? Does the heat do funny things to the passenger? As I guess you can tell, it's time to buy a new pipe for my steed. The picture of my baby (Hoot) is too big to post.
