Trashed hard bags

I was in need of the rubber gromets that fill the space between the passenger grab handles and the bike when the mounting brackets are in place for hard bags.

I am having a hard time getting the gromets from Honda and Givi and was hoping somebody may have a set of these on hand from hard bags that are no longer usable.  

If anyone has these on hand and can spare them or know how to come up with them, new or used, please let me know.

Moved to luggage, OEM bags or Givi?  Is there a suitable alternative at your local hardware store?

Try looking for compatible grommets at Home Depot or Sears Hardware outlets.

It's not really a "grommet" persay. �It's more like a "boot" or "spacer". �It's a molded piece of rubber that fills the space between the tailpiece and the grabrails. �When you put the OEM bags on the bike, the grabrails sit up a bit from the tailpiece and leaves a space. �On the bottom, it's shaped like the tailpiece and on the top, it's shaped like the underside of the grabrails. �Believe me, he WON'T find 'em at home depot or lowe's. lol �I've tried contacting GIVI directly for them myself to no avail. �I've had no less than 5 honda dealers tell me that they aren't available as a part. �In fact, NO parts are available individually for the OEM bags at all from Honda ....... they say "Call GIVI" ......... GIVI says ....... "Honda has all the parts, we just made 'em for them". �

Hey, Dave ......... If he could take a picture of the part he's looking for, he'd have the damn part!!!!!! lol Fortunately, I have them on mine, but that doesn't help him.   :goof:

I have a friend that is a rep for a hardware company and he can find just about anything I can throw at him.
