Fire it up

So its a sunny 10°c out today so up when the garage door for the start of de-winterizing the VFR. Did the normal things, removed cover, unplugged battery tender, check airbox for mice , you know just a good once over before first of the year startup. All looked good so it was off to find the key, which where still in my riding jacket from last fall. The video tells it all

BATTERY TOO LOW OR FAILING AND MAY BE STUCK INJECTOR OH IT WAS TO CLOSE TO THE SNOWMOBILE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking its time to replace the battery, bike was on the tender all winter, but the garage is unheated, and its still the OEM battery 4 years and 61,000km later. It sounded like it was starting to get weak last fall, bike would sit for a week or so, and than it would be slow to start.

Stuck the MOTY in the bike today. Hit the start button and counted to 3 and the bike is doing the fast idle after sitting since November. Cool! :fing02:

Who wouldn't need to clear their throat after a long winters nap? :biggrin:

I hate winter...

64 degrees here yesterday and I got out and bombed around a bit!

Let's all now say a short prayer and see if maybe God will call off the white stuff till next fall!
