I just received the OEM hard bags and installed them. Previously, I had gone with a CW fender eliminator kit. I then noticed that I either need to loose the eliminator kit, or saw off the two pieces that tie into the backbone of the old fender setup. Has anyone tried running the OEM hardbag setup with a CW fender elminator? Looking at it myself, it doesn't look like the two struts that tie into the fender provide that much more structrual rigidity to the system and may not be necessary. Thoughts?
