Beartooth Pass video

This was shot last year on my way to Laguna Seca.  Camera troubles meant no video from this year. Hopefully, I have figured out the correct way to embed the youtube link.  I misaligned the camera hence the funky framing.    Shot with a POV.HD camera and edited with FInal Cut Pro X. I am still struggling with getting the right sound. Wind noise is dominant and even the Leo Vince's I added this year would have been drowned out.

The dude in the pickup really didn't want to let you by, did he? Interesting angle. Was the road surface better than it appeared in the video?

Actually, other than a short stretch that was being repaved, the road was in good shape - smooth and grippy.

Yeah, the pu driver wasn't the most considerate. Not sure if he was riding 'shotgun' to the two Harleys, or a local pissed off because there were hundreds of cruiser on a big poker run based out of Red Lodge.

Btw, if you're ever in the area the Antler's Lodge in Cooke City is a neat place to stay.
