Hi!

I fired up my baby today for the first time in 3 months.  It just started. Even with the old gas!

It has 49,202 miles on it.  She has lived 1 block from the beach ever since my father puchased her in 2001.  Thank god I jumped on it in 2002 and started riding it.  My father just gave it to me (he bought a harley).

For the last 12+ years I have been rocking this thing.  Almost a daily driver, been on the track 1x Laguna Seca and 2x Buttowillow.   My brother and I have made the yearly pilgrimage up the 1 to see the MotoGP races at laguna seca 8/10 past years.  I live in Orange County, he lives in Redondo (and rides a supreme 954r). I love my Honda. We love our honda's.

So, this thing is bad ass. I love explaining to people what a V4 is by using my two fingers with both hands making a double vtwin motion.  And then I explaing what it's like to have gears instead of a chain drive!

That Noise!

I love you honda.

Even though at 40k I blew the gearset one day on the 73N and spent over $1200 in repairs.  No matter that even after a Mission Motorsports Honda dealership rebuid, it leaks oil probably too much to track again, I cannot let the sound of your gears meshing and V4 whining go.  I cannot let the forgiving feel of linked braked guide me time and time again.  With fresh Dunlop's, yeah its heavy, but the torque is just something to behold.

That sound.....

I love you

Nice Y2K, surprised I haven't seen you around. Considering you only have 50 post, I'm going to say you don't check in here often! A few of us OC riders like to ride and will be heading up to the central Coast of California in April. You're welcome to join us, and that's for any ride we do, so check in more often.

Here's the CC ride...(see post 32)
