Quick trip to CA 36

The opportunity to complete the end of Vic Van 5 Yosemite, when I got the flat in Happy Camp. I was meeting my family in Sun River on Sep 10th so I figured I would take off Friday the 8th and drone down I5 663 miles to Red Bluff, CA and hit Hwy 36,  here is my trip to get there  http://mapq.st/2g091v5

I had a blast Saturday morning hitting 36 and ended up getting to to Sun River by 7:30 pm. Following is my first attempt at editing a video,  I had my Gopro attached to the chin of my helmet and another small camera on the left mirror mount. I will post up more as soon as I get proficient at editing.

I've done 36 from the coast to Red Bluff a few times, the section after the turning for highway 3 uphill is notorious for the roadside gravel getting dragged onto the road, I've had both wheels airborne at the same time more than once

The section from the Trinity/Humboldt boundary going west is really rough this year, the winter rains washed parts of it away, lots of cracks and banding

Just be careful riding the Humboldt county section
