IS there anyone from Ontario (Canada) interested in trying to make this mini meet? IF so please let me know - It would definately be something to look forward to after this weekend of 12 inches of snow......

Ken,

Which route would you be taking? Would you be trailering your bike down or riding? I am thinking of going, I was also curious if others form the North East are going?

Not sure Pat - I guess it would depend on the weather here - and what the forecast was calling for - but I think the end of April should be fairly safe if we were to ride? Trailering is an option. I'm going to see how many others might be interested. YOu guys socked in with snow too right now?

WIsh I had a sled to tool around with - this snow would be great to blast around in.

Yes, I'm planning on being there also.
#12
Ken,

Yes we got about a foot of snow today and it has been very cold, around or below zero degrees. I guess we will have to wait and see what the weather is going to be.

Sorry for the late "tune in to this" but what are the actual dates that are planned to be at Deals Gap? I have a bit of distance to cover to get there - and need to plan this out. I really hope I can make this. I'm at least one long days drive.

I'm hoping to be there for at least a couple of the days. We should try to find a good place for a group dinner one of the nights when the majority of the people will be there.
#15
I better be there, being the closest. I don't have anything planned that far out...but you never know.

With allot of coming, what would some of you like to do? We are going to raise a cross for a fallen VFR member at deals gap. We could do Cherahola skyway one day and maybe the wheels through time museum. They have allot of old running bikes worth seeing. Any ideas would be great as some of you live there in the area.

Also it is a dry county so if you would like to partake of the nightly festivities, bring your own.

Adam, I will handle everything to do with a re-visit to the Cross we placed at the site last year for TexasMac. I would also be willing to lead day rides on at least 2 days for a faster group or split groups. I have many routes for the area and plan on at least two quick 400 mile days, one to TWO and the other a NE route. :D
We can have a beer exchange in the Microtel to if desired ! It's a BYOB town for sure !
I will also mostlikely have a breakfast planned for a least one morning for the original Cross Raising group from last year and it will be open to all.
Just let me know what you would like to do and we can blend it all together !
I don't want to take over anything you had planned, but I plan I doing a lot and would be happy to act as host for most of the event or you can organize your own stuff !

Breakfast sounds great, where do you want to eat? I had some half inch thick buttermilk pancakes at some bar-b-q across the street from the microtel. Extremely and highly recommended.
How about the wheels through time museum?
