- Is This Tire Cupping Or Just Wear? normal wear. Time to change it. I have no idea how anyone gets that sort of mileage outta tires. I'd be way more worried about it being an 04 tire (maybe even a 03). I wouldn't ride on that tire at all. I'd have…

- Tire Plugs I'll plug it to get home, but then take the tire off and do a proper plug-patch from the inside for piece of mind. Replacing a tire for a simple puncture is :goofy: As long as it's near the center of the tire. :fing02:…
- Changing Own Tires Next time around, go to NAPA and get a bottle of Ru-Glyde. You'll thank me later. It takes all the work out of spooning on new tires (removal also). Good lube is the key.
- How Do You Make Winter Shorter? Move south. What winter?
- Rode A New 6th Gen Yesterday [image: View Post]Pete McCrary, on Jan 19 2009, 04:15 PM, said: Many of us like the "largeness/bigness of the 6th Gen". I owned an SV650 before the VFR. At 6'-2+" and 265#, I looked and felt like a fat monkey humping a…

- Helmet Speakers Find some better ear buds that don't stick out as much, or fit your ear better. Helmet speakers do not block out any noise, so to avoid hearing damage you will also have to use earplugs, which will block out the…
- Jardine Rt-1 Slip On Pipe A fairly common name on the same quality as D&D, not great but OK. :fing02: I'd rate them a bit better than the D&D stuff. More along the lines of 2 Brothers IMO. I've heard a set of them on a RC-51 and they sounded…
