Well, a year ago I was very vocal about not ever wanting to ride a street bike. (3rd year on dirt however) My wife bought a CBR 600f2 and I drove the "support vehicle" for her and a group of friends when they'd go on rides. One day I had to move the bike and I said to myself, "why not take it around the neighborhood?" yah know...just to prove that I didn't have any REAL interest....oops. I started doing this on a daily basis. Then realized I was hooked and needed my own helmet. Then I figured I needed to get my license. Then my wife and I started flipping coins to see who got to ride the bike....THEN along came a very well cared for silver '03 VFR with a power commander and two bros. exhaust. (the previous owner was bummed he had to sell) I've had it for 5 months and never looked back. Just got back from the Freddy Spencer school and am now totally obsessed with bikes! Just goes to show ...Never say never!

Glad to hear you got "trapped" into it.
Enjoy the info and hopefully you won't test ride a new 1000RR or anything like that soon. In your case, the pocketbook might hate that kind of thing.

I'd love to go to the Fast Freddie school. That's high on my dream list. I've been to the Keith Code CSS which was pretty good.

Unfortunately, I talked a friend into buying the Repsol Edition CBR 1000rr and he has already let me take it for a spin. As soon as I can, I will have one. (in addition to the VFR...not a replacement)

Hi! Yes I did! He was bummed about selling it but said he was going to pick up a KTM Dual Sport that day which would suit his needs better.
